The Emporia High volleyball team won two matches and lost two matches in the Emporia Invitational Saturday.
The Lady Spartans defeated Bonner Springs in 3 sets 25-17, 22-25, and 25-14.
They defeated Bishop Carroll the number 10 ranked team in 5A 25-15, 25-20.
Emporia High was defeated by Lawrence Free State, the number 7th ranked 6A team 25-20 and 25-22.
Washburn Rural, the number 1 ranked team in 6A, swept the Lady Spartans 25-10 and 25-14.
Sub-State will be next for the Emporia High volleyball team next Saturday.
