Emporia Fire took one person to Newman Regional Health after a crash involving two vehicles Tuesday morning.
A pickup and SUV collided at Ninth and Neosho around 7:50 am, with both vehicles ending up in a nearby yard after the crash. Emporia Police Capt. Ray Mattas says one of the vehicles was eastbound on Ninth, while the other was southbound on Neosho. Vehicles haven’t been specified, but the southbound driver did not yield and was cited for failing to yield as part of the investigation.
EFD says the truck driver went to Newman Regional Health afterward.
Names have not been released.
