A trip to State will be on the line for the Emporia High volleyball team Saturday. They will be hosting a sub-state tournament. Emporia High is the number 1 seed in the west region.
Senior Gracie Gilpin says they just need to play as a team.
Senior Grace Xu says being able to play on the home court is a big deal.
The first match of the day between Salina Central and Goddard will determine who plays Emporia High in the semi-finals.
The other semi-final has Andover playing Hays.
The winners of the semi-finals will play for the sub-state championship with the winner advancing to State.
The first match begins at 1 pm at Emporia High School.
