The Madison Bulldogs rolled through their first-round playoff game against Marmaton Valley with a 62-0 victory Thursday night.
The Bulldogs found the endzone seven times in the first quarter thanks to two running touchdowns and a pick-six by junior Bryson Turner, three passing touchdowns by senior quarterback Casey Helm and a touchdown run by senior Drew Stutesman. The Bulldogs would find the endzone one final time in the second quarter to close out the win at halftime.
Helm led the bulldogs with his three passing touchdowns and 91 yards of offense through the air. He says it was a good start to the postseason.
Head Coach Alex McMillian says his team needs to maintain this momentum as they get deeper into the playoffs.
The Bulldogs now improve to 9-0 on the year and will face West Elk in the second round of the playoffs next week in Madison.
