A third COVID-19 booster shot clinic is now on the schedule for Lyon County residents.
Previously-announced clinics Nov. 4 at the Bowyer Building and Nov. 12 at the Fairgrounds Anderson Building filled up shortly after they were announced last week, so Lyon County Public Health has announced a clinic Nov. 30 at the Anderson Building. Hours will be 9 am to 4 pm. Boost doses of all approved COVID-19 vaccines — Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and Pfizer — will be available.
Shots are for residents ages 65 and older or residents above age 18 that meet certain criteria: living in long-term care settings, underlying medical conditions or working in high-risk settings. To schedule an appointment, go online to www.publichealth.lyoncounty.org.
Residents who can’t attend the Nov. 30 clinic but want a booster shot can call Flint Hills Community Health Center at 620-342-4864 during normal business hours.
