Traffic on Prairie Street is down to one lane for much of Thursday.
The Lyon County Highway Department says the storm drains are being cleared, so one-lane traffic will affect Prairie between West South and West Sixth. The process will begin around 9 am and typically takes 4-5 hours to complete.
The Highway Department is asking drivers to plan ahead and avoid the work zone if possible.
