Funeral services have been announced for an Emporia man killed in a traffic crash in Kansas City, Missouri, early Monday.
The Kansas City Police Department says 22-year-old Luis Josue Cervantes Magana was driving near 29th and Broadway around 3 am when he lost control of his car. The vehicle flipped onto its roof and ejected him.
Cervantes-Magana was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 am Monday at Emporia’s St. Catherine Catholic Church, following a rosary at 10 am at the church. Burial will follow at Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
