Sentencing is coming for a man convicted of leading a high-speed pursuit across Lyon County in July.
23-year-old Jamison Durkee of Shawnee pled to a single county of felony flee and elude during a hearing Lyon County District Court Friday. Sentencing is scheduled for 1:30 pm Dec. 28.
Durkee was arrested in the early morning hours of Jul. 11 at the Kansas Turnpike Matfield Green service exit following a high-speed pursuit through Lyon and Chase counties which began in the evening hours of Jul. 10.
