Lyon County commissioners have several financial matters they will address in their action meeting Thursday.
In agenda order:
*Lyon County Emergency Communications Director Roxanne Van Gundy will present the department’s portion of the Spillman/Motorola law enforcement dispatch software payment of over $20,000 to the city of Emporia.
*Lyon County Human Resources Director Janice Huffman will present a contract with IMA for insurance consulting services for county signature. The announced contract cost is $36,000.
*Lyon County Chief Judge Merlin Wheeler will discuss currently-unspecified budget issues with appointed counsel service.
In other business, commissioners will consider signing a settlement participation form as presented by Assistant County Counselor Mike Halleran as well as the official abstract for the 2021 election. They have also scheduled four executive sessions.
The meeting starts at 9 am Thursday in the County Courthouse.
