Lyon County commissioners are adjusting their meeting schedule this holiday week.
Commissioners typically have an action meeting Thursday, but they are meeting Wednesday with two main discussion items and several executive sessions on the agenda:
*Commissioners will get the latest update on COVID-19 stats and response measures from Lyon County Health Officer Dr. Ladun Oyenuga and Lyon County Public Health Incident Commander Renee Hively.
*Commissioners will also hear a presentation from Lyon County Chief Judge Merlin Wheeler on digital docket displays.
*Five executive sessions are listed, three for legal matters and two for non-elected personnel.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
Emporia city commissioners are taking this week off and won’t meet again until Dec. 1.
