Active coronavirus cases in Lyon County shot up once again according to Lyon County Public Health’s latest data report Wednesday.
Public Health reported a total of 34 new cases between Monday and Wednesday bringing the overall total to 5,907 cases. 19 recoveries saw the active total increase from 139 to 150.
Of the 150 active cases, 27 are considered breakthroughs. Collectively, there have been 338 total breakthrough cases in Lyon County.
Deaths were unchanged at 92 with four cases still pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Active hospitalizations remain at three.
