A water line break that caused travel issues in northeast Emporia has been resolved.
Public Works Director Dean Grant says a 12-inch line failed on East 12th near Mary, with reports of issues starting around 9 am Monday. The line was fixed Monday evening.
Thru traffic was detoured for several hours. At this time, it’s unclear when the cutout zone will be patched and traffic can return to normal.
