One man convicted in Lyon County earlier this fall on a rape charge learned his sentence Thursday.
William Nunez received almost 13 years in prison after his conviction in late September. Nunez also has to undergo lifetime registration as a sex offender as well as postrelease supervision.
Nunez was accused of having sexual intercourse with a person who was unable to give consent. Authorities say the incident happened in late March.
