Court proceedings will continue next year in an Emporia rape case.
46-year-old Brice Obermeyer appeared in Lyon County District Court for a preliminary hearing Monday afternoon during which time he was bound over on all charges including rape, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated burglary, lewd and lascivious conduct, criminal restraint and stalking. Next up will be a pretrial hearing on Jan. 13 at 2 pm.
Obermeyer is accused of activity with a person in their early 50’s this past summer.
