More post-season honors for 4 Emporia State soccer players.
Mackenzie Dimarco and Hannah Woolery are 1st team all-region selections as selected by the United Soccer Coaches Association.
Ashlyn Lakin earned second-team honors and junior Aislinn Hughes was named third-team.
Mackenzie Dimarco picked up two All-American Honors.
She was named a 2nd team All-American by both the United Soccer Coaches Association and by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.
She led the MIAA in goals, game-winning goals, and shots this season and ranked second in total points and sixth in shot on goal accuracy. She is third in the nation in total goals, fifth in game-winning goals and shots on goal per game, seventh in goals per game, eighth in total points, and 12th in shots per game. She tied the MIAA record of 20 goals in a season.
The Hornets went 19-3-1 and won their first MIAA Tournament Championship. They also hosted and won their NCAA Tournament first-round match.
