Kansas State defeated McNeese State 74-59 Tuesday night.
The Wildcats trailed by 9 points with just over 5 minutes to play in the first half before going on an 18-2 run to take a 35-28 lead at halftime. Kansas State led by as many as 21 points in the 2nd half.
Markquis Nowell finished with a double-double of 18 points and 10 assists. His 2nd points-assist double-double of the season joining Steve Henson, Jacob Pullen, and Angel Rodriguez as the only Wildcats to post two such double-doubles in school history.
Nijel Pack also scored 18 points.
Selton Miguel added 17 points.
Kansas State goes into the Christmas Break with an 8 and 3 record.
Their next scheduled game against Morgan State on December 29th has been canceled due to Covid concerns.
Kansas State is searching for a possible new opponent.
