Emporia State’s basketball teams have their doubleheader against Northwest Missouri back on the calendar.
ESU has announced the doubleheader originally set for this past Saturday will be played Feb. 8 at White Auditorium. Game times will be 5:30 pm for the women and 7:30 pm for the men. Coverage on Mix 104.9 FM and KVOE.com will be at 5:05 pm.
Saturday’s doubleheader was postponed when the Emporia State women and Northwest Missouri men were both in COVID protocols.
This week, ESU travels to Pittsburg State for a doubleheader Thursday evening instead of Wednesday after Pitt State’s basketball teams went into COVID protocols. Game times will be 5:30 pm for the women and 7:30 pm for the men, with coverage on Mix 104.9 FM starting at 5:05 pm. ESU is also traveling to Missouri Southern for an afternoon doubleheader Saturday.

Emporia State’s basketball teams are set to play this week — but not on the date listed on your calendars.
ESU is now set to play at Pittsburg State on Thursday instead of Wednesday. Pitt State recently had both its men’s and women’s teams move into COVID protocols. They are expected to be cleared by Thursday. Tip-off times remain at 5:30 pm for the women and 7:30 pm for the men.
This past Thursday’s women’s game between Emporia State and Missouri Western was postponed with the Lady Hornets in COVID protocols. Saturday’s doubleheader against Northwest Missouri was also postponed with the ESU women and Northwest Missouri men in COVID protocols at the time.
