Another round of renovations may be coming to schools in USD 252 Southern Lyon County.
The district board discussed a new set of renovations as part of its most recent meeting, according to Superintendent Mike Argabright.
Costs are currently pending.
Separately, Argabright says the board had a fruitful discussion on COVID-19 policy adjustments after changes announced recently by Lyon County Public Health for isolation and quarantine. The district hasn’t specified its COVID traffic numbers, but Argabright says there is infection and quarantine at all three attendance centers.
Public Health says individuals need to stay home for five days if they a lab-confirmed COVID-19 infection regardless of vaccination status. If individuals show now symptoms after five days they can leave their home, however, they are told to continue wearing a mask for an additional five days. Unvaccinated residents need to quarantine for at least five days from day of exposure, wear masks whenever around others for at least five days and monitor symptoms for 10 days.
