Preliminary hearings are on the Lyon County District Court docket for three people recently accused of drug distribution.
Amanda Sibert, Jason Smith and Chasity Stark had first appearances Wednesday. Sibert and Smith have separate prelims Feb. 9, while Stark will have her prelim Feb. 14.
Identical charges have been filed against all three defendants, including possession of methamphetamine and marijuana with intent to sell both drugs and conspiracy to distribute both drugs. Emporia Police says a suspicious odor call at 501 Neosho Apt. 1 on Jan. 14 led to the discovery of handguns, ammunition, ballistic vests, paraphernalia, marijuana, cocaine, meth and over $2,500 in cash.
