Emporia Main Street is welcoming local downtown businesses to participate in serving as a canvas for interactive murals for the community.
In January of last year, Emporia Main Street adorned several businesses with the one-of-a-kind murals all of which received a highly positive response from the community. Main Street is now looking to build on that success with the addition of two new murals.
In addition to the local popularity, Main Street has also seen a spike in foot traffic and community pride over the past year. Main Street Director Casey Woods discusses his observations.
