Three people suffered minor injuries after a pickup truck went off a Lyon County highway and hit several signs near Olpe on Saturday.
Lyon County Deputy Eric Williams says the wreck happened shortly before 3 pm in the 700 block of Kansas Highway 99 outside Olpe. A pickup driven by 66-year-old David Denman of Toronto was southbound. Denman failed to negotiate a curve, going off the highway and hitting the signs before stopping.
Denman and two passengers, 56-year-old Harold Howe and 37-year-old Myderia Ann Casteel, both of Yates Center, were all treated at the scene for minor injuries before declining further treatment. All three were in seatbelts when the crash happened.
