Lyon County commissioners have their action meeting for the week on Thursday morning.
Commissioners could approve a nearly $74,000 payment to the Kansas 911 Coordinating Council for an annual call-handling invoice as presented by Emergency Communications Director Roxanne Van Gundy, who will also present a roughly $5,500 payment for an automated text survey platform known as CueHit.
Commissioners and county staff will have their own reports, and the board could approve several township reports as part of the consent agenda, where several items can be handled with one vote. Three executive sessions are also planned.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers. At this time, there is no word on when the joint city-county meeting will be rescheduled. That was originally set for Wednesday afternoon just before the Emporia City Commission meeting, which is still taking place at 1:30 pm.
