The Emporia State softball team opens their season today playing in a tournament in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
Junior infielder Abbey Ward says she is ready to get the season started.
The softball team will play Ouachita Baptist in their first game and Oklahoma Baptist. Sunday they will play Henderson State and Arkansas Monticello. Monday they are scheduled to play Cameron.
The Emporia State baseball team will open their season Sunday against Northern State in Edmond, Oklahoma.
