The Emporia State softball team picked up 2 wins Sunday in a tournament in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
They run-ruled Henderson State 13-1. Brittanie Shepherd was 4 for 4 with 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.
Karly Johnson also drove in 4 runs. Lexi Williams drove in 2 runs.
Gracie Rabe was the winning pitcher.
Emporia State outscored Arkansas Monticello 7-5.
They were trailing 5-0 going to the bottom of the 2nd inning when they scored 3 runs and took the lead with a 4 run 4th inning.
Lexi Williams and Bailey Flewelling each drove in 2 runs.
The Emporia State softball team is now 3-1 for the season and plays Cameron Monday to close out tournament play.
