Union Street Social is hosting a Drag Brunch to benefit The Emporia High School Gender and Sexuality Alliance.
The event is a fundraiser in honor of suicide prevention amongst the LGBTQ community youth. Organizer Orion Turner states the importance for increased LGBTQ events in small communities like Emporia.
This is the third drag show to be hosted in Emporia following the inaugural Emporia Pride Celebration last June and the Drag’O’Ween event held last October. Drag Brunch will be held Sunday at 2 pm with a $5 entry fee.
