Fewer than 20 new COVID-19 cases were noted in Lyon County Public Health’s first data report of the week Monday.
Public Health reported 18 new cases between Friday and Monday. This brings the county’s overall total to 9,946 cases since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020.
Last week’s overall total of 198 was the lowest weekly total reported since the peak of the Omicron variant. The county’s death toll was unchanged and remains at 108 with seven cases still pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
