The Emporia-Lyon County Metropolitan Area Planning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals are set for meetings Tuesday night.
The Board of Zoning Appeals meets first, with an application for a variance involving an accessory structure. The address hasn’t been listed.
The Planning Commission meeting involves an application for a special video sign outside the Emporia Public Library as well as an application for a preliminary plat involving the Kretsinger Tract — and possibly setting the stage for a nearly 17-acre housing development near Soden’s Road and South Exchange. More discussions about proposed zoning regulations are also on the agenda.
The slate of meetings begins at 6 pm at the Municipal Court Room.
