7 members of the Emporia High wrestling team have earned trips to state at the 5A regional tournament at Valley Center.
Xerarch Tungjaroenkul is the lone Spartan who will wrestle for a regional championship.
Jesse Ultreras, Davian White, and Bobby Trujillo were defeated in the semi-finals and will wrestler in the consolation semi-finals.
Braxton Malone, Lukas Hainline, and Josiah Bradley have also earned a trip to State. They will be wrestling in the consolation quarterfinals to begin today.
The State wrestling tournament for boys will be held next Friday and Saturday at Hartman Arena in Park City.
