Updates and bids are the featured discussion items in general for the USD 253 Emporia Board of Education meeting this week.
Board members will get the latest update on COVID-19 trends and mitigation strategies from Superintendent Allison Anderson-Harder, Interim Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Brad Kempf and Director of Nursing Jennifer Arndt. The COVID update follows a status report on education redesign at Emporia Middle School.
Board members could approve a revised calendar for the 2022-2023 academic year. They could also approve a bid-letting process for special furniture, fixtures and equipment at Emporia High.
The meeting starts at 6:30 pm at Mary Herbert.
