Modest increases continue to be the norm for Lyon County according to Public Health’s first data report this week.
Late Monday morning, Public Health noted 15 new cases developed over the weekend putting the county’s overall total at 10,021 cases since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020. The 15 new cases follows a weekly total of 78 new cases last week, the lowest total of the year thus far and the first weekly total of 2022 under 100 new cases.
The county’s death toll did rise by one from 109 to 110. Five cases are still pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
