An investigation is underway involving local and federal authorities.
Emporia Police is helping the Federal Bureau of Investigation with a case, according to Police Capt. Lisa Hayes. The scope of the investigation and the reason behind it are currently not being released.
The location of law enforcement activity connected to this case is also not being divulged. Listener reports of FBI vehicles in the 900 block of Woodland are not being confirmed.
