The extent of this past weekend’s alleged break-in and burglary at Emporia’s Haag Pharmacy was apparently targeted at one general item.
Hydrocodone tablets — some 4,000 of them — were allegedly taken as part of the break-in late Friday or early Saturday. Roughly half were a combination of 5 mg hydrocodone, an opioid pain medication, and 325 mg acetaminophen, with another 1,000 tablets involving a combination of 7.5 mg hydrocodone and 325 mg acetaminophen. The remaining 1,000 tablets combined 10 mg hydrocodone with 325 mg acetaminophen.
Besides the theft, damage was apparently limited to one of the front doors.
