Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells says a man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of numerous illegal drug offenses, including intent to distribute.
Wells says the arrest of 50-year-old Michael Brumbaugh in the 20800 block of South Indian Hills Road near Osage City followed a lengthy narcotics investigation, with the Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team and Osage County Narcotics Investigators serving a search warrant before Brumbaugh’s arrest.
Besides possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, Brumbaugh was also arrested on suspicion of marijuana and paraphernalia possession as well as unlawful use of a communication facility. In addition, Brumbaugh was arrested on suspicion of activity stemming from an incident in late October, including meth possession and distribution, marijuana possession, paraphernalia possession and unlawful use of a communication facility.
Formal charges are pending.
