Kansas State gave #12 Texas Tech a scare Monday night. The two teams traded leads 11 times and there were 12 ties before Texas Tech took the lead for good with just over a minute to play for a 73-68 win over the Wildcats.
Coach Bruce Weber called it a great effort from the Cats.
Kansas State had 4 players score in double-figures led by Mike McGuirls 18 points. Selton Miguel added 14 points, Nijel Pack finished with 13 points and Mark Smith scored 11 points.
Kansas State closes out the regular season Saturday when they host Oklahoma.
