Preliminary interviews are coming Friday afternoon as USD 252 Southern Lyon County prepares to hire a new principal at Hartford Junior-Senior High School and Neosho Rapids Elementary.
Current principal Doug Hes is moving as his wife is being transferred due to a promotion, according to the district.
Finalist interviews are scheduled for Monday, and the USD 252 Board of Education is holding three hour-long interviews at 4, 5 and 6 pm before its regular meeting at 7 pm. The district has not yet posted the agenda for Monday night, but Superintendent Mike Argabright says a decision is possible, depending on how the finalist interviews go. All four meetings will be held at the district’s Board of Education meeting room in Hartford.
