The Emporia State baseball team plays a non-conference game Tuesday against Southwestern Oklahoma State in Enid, Oklahoma.
The Hornets won 2 of the 3 games they played at Fort Hays State and Coach Seth Wheeler would like to build off the wins.
This weekend the Hornets are scheduled to play at Central Missouri.
The Emporia State softball team is scheduled to open MIAA play this weekend. Due to the forecast for poor weather conditions, they will now play at Central Oklahoma on Saturday and at Newman on Sunday.
