Parents of Emporia schoolchildren can take advantage of a meal program if they are staying home for spring break next week.
USD 253 Emporia is offering a free grab-and-go lunch and snack for all district children up to age 18. Meals will be served at Village Elementary from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm and will be available while supplies last.
The week’s menu:
*Monday: Bosco sticks
*Tuesday: Chicken nuggets
*Wednesday: Hamburger on a bun
*Thursday: Ham and cheese sandwich
*Friday: Cheesy chicken crispitos
