The Emporia State baseball team was outscored by Central Missouri 4-3 Monday afternoon to complete a 3 game sweep.
The Hornets scored unearned runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings to take a 2-0 lead. Central Missouri would score single runs in the 4th, 5th, and 6th to take a 3-2 lead.
Emporia State tied the game in the 8th inning when TJ Racherbaumer scored on an error.
Central broke the tie in the bottom of the 8th.
The Hornets fall to 8-14 for the season and 2-7 in the MIAA.
They are scheduled to host Pittsburg State in a single game Wednesday.
