The Emporia State softball team will be on the road Wednesday. They will play a non-conference doubleheader against William Jewell.
The Lady Hornets are 12-12 for the season. William Jewell is 3 and 11.
Sophomore Emma Furnish who hit a 3 run home run in her last at-bat against Newman Sunday says that was a confidence boost and hopes to build off that blast.
Wednesdays’ games will be played at the Urban Youth Academy in Kansas City Missouri.
Saturday Emporia State is scheduled to play a doubleheader at Drury.
