The Emporia State baseball team powered past Northwest Missouri State 7-3 Sunday to win the 3 game series 2 games to 1.
Coach Seth Wheeler said they did a lot of things well.

Lukas Rich, Kase Johnson hit 2 home runs, Kaden Williams, Brenden Tauber, and Quinn Cherry hit a 2 run pinch-hit home run.
Jared Kengot picked up the win going 6 innings giving up 2 runs on 5 hits with 5 strikeouts and no walks.
The Hornets Improve to 10-16 for the season and 4-9 in the MIAA. They are now scheduled to host Northwestern Oklahoma State on Wednesday. This weekend The Hornets are scheduled to host Missouri Southern.
