Overall cases and deaths saw slight upticks in Lyon County Public Health’s now weekly COVID-19 data report.
Wednesday, Public Health announced four new cases developed in the county since last Friday. The overall total now stands at 10,134 cases since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020.
The death count increased by two from 114 to 116 between reporting periods with one case still pending final cause information from the state.
It was announced earlier this week that Public Health will be moving away from three reports a week, which has been the standard throughout the pandemic, to a single weekly report until further notice.
