After a week off, Emporia City Commissioners will convene Wednesday for a trio of discussions.
Conversations will include potential updates to the Santa Fe Skate Park, a project that received a $250,000 donation back in October from the Emporia Community Foundation. At the time, that donation was expected to cover 75 percent of the cost of construction.
Commissioners will discuss the possibility of adopting the uniform public offense code for Kansas cities issued annually by the League of Kansas Municipalities. Further conversations on the city’s common consumption area will also take place.
The meeting begins at 1:30 pm inside the Municipal Courtroom at White Auditorium.
