Lyon County’s latest deadline for vehicle tag renewal is coming this week.
Thursday is the final day for residents with last names beginning with the letter “B” to renew tags without penalty. Residents can either go to the Lyon County Courthouse, pay online or mail their statements to the Courthouse.
Those paying at the Courthouse can get in line virtually by texting “Lyon County Motor Vehicle” to 620-254-9998, by downloading the QLess mobile app, using the home page hotlink at www.lyoncounty.org or by using the kiosk outside the Motor Vehicle Office.
Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm weekdays.
