The Emporia High girls soccer team was defeated by Liberal 2-0 in the consolation semi-finals of the Titan classic yesterday.
Coach Oscar Macias said, “Lots of growth at this game. We are a young team growing in confidence. Where our defense grew the previous game, or offense grew in this one. The girls created plenty of opportunities, just need another step in growing to finish on goal”.
They will play Derby for 7th place on Saturday.
