Local residents are invited to grab their flashlights and head down to Hammond Park Saturday night for a unique spin on a springtime tradition.
The Emporia State University Choirs will be hosting a “glow hunt” beginning at 8 pm with all proceeds going to support the ESU Choir’s impending tour to Washington DC. ESU Director of Choral Activities Josh Donaldson says the event is essentially an Easter egg hunt for adults.
Donaldson says the park will be filled with eggs containing right around $300 worth of prizes.
The event is open for residents 13-years of age and older and costs $7 to participate. Check-in will begin at 7:30 pm in Hammond Park ahead of the hunt.
