The Emporia State womens tennis team defeated Northeastern State 4 matches to 3 Friday.
Northeastern won the doubles point winning 2 of the 3 doubles matches. Anastasia Pesic and Paige Stranghoner won at number 2 doubles 6-2.
In singles play, Micaela McSpadden won at number 1 singles 6-0, 6-3.
Karen Santiago Sanchez won at number 3 singles 6-3, 7-6.
Paige Stranghoner won at number 4 singles 7-6, 6-4.
and Andrea Santiago won at number 5 singles 6-4, 6-2.
Saturday the Lady Hornet tennis team plays at Central Oklahoma.
