Emporia High boys golf team opens season

The Emporia High boys golf team split the squad to open the season Monday.
At the Salina Central Invitational, Emporia High finished in 4th place. Individually Brooks Sauder finished in 2nd place with a 68. Hudson Sauder finished tied for 4th place with a 76. Will Walker and Cooper Davis tied for 23rd place with 94s. Finneas Reynolds finished in29th place with a 95.
At El Dorado, Emporia High finished in 5th place. Kaleb Goodman had the low score for Emporia High, he finished tied for 24th place with a 105.
The Spartans golfers will play in the Washburn Rural Invitational Thursday.
