Lyon County Public Health reported a pair of new cases in it’s weekly data report Wednesday afternoon.
The two new cases brings the county’s overall total to 10,144 since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020. Deaths were unchanged between reporting periods and remain at 119.
One case is still pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Public Health’s report comes nearly a week after Kansas Governor Laura Kelly announced the state would be moving from pandemic to endemic response.
KDHE began making that switch last Friday.
