Emporia Highs Brenden Keinholz finished in 1st place in singles play at the Newton Invitational Thursday.
He won the Championship match 8-0 over Evan Franke of Derby.
Mortiz Winning finished in 14th place.
Emporia High did not have a doubles team entered. They finished in 7th place out of 8 teams.
Derby won the team title.
