Coronavirus numbers have been low for weeks, but there are still opportunities available for residents to get tested and vaccinated if they so choose.
CareArc, Healthier Lyon County and USD 253 Emporia have partnered on a combination clinic from 3-7 pm Monday at Mary Herbert Education Center. Appointments are preferred by calling 620-208-3741 or by going online to www.publichealth.lyoncounty.org, but walk-ins are also welcome. Residents will receive a $25 gift card when they get vaccines or a $10 gift card if they get tested.
RadxUp and United Healthcare are also partners in this effort.
Earlier this month, Newman Regional Health transitioned its COVID-19 vaccination appointments to its Newman Regional Health Medical Partners clinics. Residents interested in vaccinations through the hospital and schedule appointments by calling 620-343-2376 or by going online to www.newmanrh.org/covid19.
